Tonkatsu Curry with Ramen Noodles

Ingredients

Wokka ramen noodles

1 onion, sliced

1 carrot, sliced

4 small potato, cubed

1 apple, peeled and cubed

3 Japanese curry cubes

450g pork steaks, thin

1 cup flour

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup panko crumbs,

1/2 vegetable oil

Salt

Pepper

Steps

  1. On medium heat cook onion, carrot, potatoes, apple, and salt, 5 mins.

  2. Add boiling water to cover vegetables, season with salt and pepper, 15 mins.

  3. Add 3 Japanese curry cubes and cook until sauce thickens.

  4. Hydrate panic crumbs with 2 tbsp of water and mix in small bowl.

  5. Coat flattened pork steaks in flour, egg than panic crumbs.

  6. Fry pork steaks in hot oil for 3 mins each side.

  7. Remove pork and fry a second time for 1 min each side to make extra crispy.

  8. Boil Wokka ramen noodle for 5 mins then drain.

  9. Serve Wokka ramen noodles with curry & tonkatsu (crumbed pork steaks).
